Everything you need to know about sharing files with Fast2Share.

Getting started

Yes — for both ends. Uploading is only possible from the panel after signing in, and downloading a shared file also needs an account: there are no anonymous downloads. Creating one is free and takes an email address.

From the panel's Upload page. Files go straight from your browser to our storage servers using the resumable tus protocol, so a dropped connection resumes instead of starting over. Depending on what the operator has enabled you can also fetch a public URL into your account, upload over your own FTP login, leech from a premium file host, copy someone else's shared file, or drive it all from the API.

It depends on your plan — see the plans. Each plan sets a maximum per-file size, a total storage quota and how long files are kept. The upload is rejected up front if it would break any of them, so you never waste a transfer.

On our own storage servers, not a third-party cloud. Bytes travel over TLS and never pass through a proxy in the middle — the browser talks to the storage box directly, which is why large uploads and downloads stay fast.

Downloading

Premium members download immediately, at full speed, with no waiting and no captcha — up to their plan's daily bandwidth allowance.

Free members can download too, with limits: you must be signed in, its owner must have left free download enabled, and there is a wait plus a captcha. Each uploader sets their own terms for their files — the size they allow on a free download, how long the wait runs, and the speed it is served at. On top of that the wait grows with each further free download you make the same day.

Every paid plan includes a daily download allowance, and you have used today's. It resets 24 hours later. The exact figure per plan is listed in the plans.

Yes. Premium accounts can mint a ready-to-use direct link through the API (GET /v1/files/{uuid}/download). It streams the bytes with no browser session and expires after about five minutes. There is also a "direct download" preference in Settings that skips the file page in the browser.

Either the file was deleted, it passed its retention period, or its owner made it private. Paste the links into the file checker to see at a glance which ones are still live.

Your files and links

Each plan has a retention period, applied when the file is uploaded — after that the file is deleted automatically. Some plans keep files indefinitely. Deleting a file yourself takes effect immediately; its storage is reclaimed shortly after and cannot be undone, so keep your own copy of anything important. Fast2Share is not a backup service.

Only people you give the link to. A file can also be marked private, and then nobody but you can open it — the share page returns the same "not available" as a deleted file, so its existence is not leaked either. You can flip a file between public and private at any time from My Files.

Yes. Each file has a "copying" switch. While it is on, someone with your link can add that file to their own account with their own link (no bytes are transferred — both links point at the same stored copy). Turn it off and copying is refused. You can also mark individual files Premium-only, so free members cannot take them.

Yes — folders in My Files, one level of sub-folders. You can move files between them in the panel or over the API.

Identical content is stored once and shared between the accounts that hold it. When your file matches bytes we already have, nothing is transferred and your link is ready immediately. You still get your own link, name and settings, and it still counts against your storage quota.

Plans and payment

With cryptocurrency, and — where the operator has enabled them — by card and local payment methods. For crypto you pick the coin and network, and we show you the exact amount, the deposit address and a QR code on our own page; the plan activates as soon as the payment confirms on-chain. You can also redeem a key bought from a reseller.

Plans are prepaid and run for the fixed term shown at checkout. Where a plan renews automatically you can switch renewal off in the panel at any time and keep it until the current term ends. Your plan and its expiry date are always visible on the Upgrade page.

A short payment leaves the invoice open — send the remainder to the same address and it settles. We email you what is still missing. Starting the same checkout again does not create a second invoice: you are returned to the one already open, so there is never more than one live address for the same purchase. If something still looks wrong, open a ticket under Billing & payments.

Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible and are non-refundable once a plan is active. For other methods, ask support within 24 hours and before using the premium benefits. See the Terms for the full rule.

The account drops back to the free tier. Your files are not deleted by the downgrade, but the free plan's limits then apply to new uploads and downloads.

Earning with Fast2Share

Through the affiliate program: you post your links, and you are paid either per download (PPD, priced per 1,000 by the visitor's country and the file size), per premium sale your traffic brings in (PPS), or a mix of both. The live rate card is on the Affiliate page. Accounts are approved manually — open a ticket under Affiliate with the sites you post on and your rough daily traffic.

Real, verified ones. Downloads flagged by our anti-fraud checks — proxies, VPNs, datacenter ranges, repeat hits from the same subnet and your own traffic — are not paid, and neither is traffic from countries outside the program's targeting.

In crypto, to the wallet on your affiliate page, once your balance reaches the minimum shown there. Reports break every dollar down by day, country, file and referral.

Approved resellers load credit, mint premium keys at a discount and sell them at their own price. To apply, open a ticket under Reseller.

Account, security and support

Turn on two-factor authentication (TOTP — Google Authenticator and friends) in Settings, and use a password you do not use elsewhere. Passwords are stored only as Argon2id hashes and can never be read back, by us or by anyone who obtains the database. Never share your account: sharing is grounds for termination under the Terms.

Yes — a token-authenticated JSON REST API for uploads, search, folders, rename, move, copy, download links and deletion. Create a token in Settings → API tokens and read the documentation. Tokens only ever see your own files.

Rights-holder and abuse reports go through the abuse and DMCA procedure. Properly-made notices are acted on as quickly as we can, and you get a link to follow your report.

Signed in, open a ticket from Support Tickets in the panel — you can attach screenshots there. Without an account, use the contact form: we reply by email and send you a private link to follow the conversation.
